Unique locally produced cotton

Rianne loves to work with natural fibers. She designed the best possible cotton ropes for her work and brought them in production partnering with a local rope manufacturer. The cotton ropes are the perfect base to create her exclusive fiber art pieces.

In a unique and specialized process, dye colors are hand mixed and added to the tapestries.

Artist or lawyer?

Rianne Zuijderduin is the designer and founder of Teddy and Wool. Teddy and Wool was born out of her passion for interior design and love for natural fibers. She studied art and graduated from law school at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) in 2016. She has made a conscious choice to follow her true passion and continue with her work as a fiber artist.

Living together with Thomas (husband), Jonathan (son) and Loulou (cat), Rianne feels blessed to be able to do the things she loves most: being a mother and an artist. The Teddy and Wool studio is located in The Netherlands (Groningen). The creative and administrative process runs remarkably smooth with the help of her creative assistant Kim Kenyon.

This is EXQUISITE. It arrived exactly as depicted with the gold I chose coordinating with a full moon photograph on an adjacent wall. The packaging was perfect and recyclable with a sweet note from the artist. Honored to hang this in my dining area. Thank you for the care and grace you put into this piece! Highly highly recommend.
